Michael's classes offer a strong, well-rounded practice designed for advanced students and beginners alike, with modifications for all levels of flexibility. Be prepared to sweat, challenge yourself and have fun while working through physically demanding classes inspired by traditional styles such as Ashtanga and Sivananda, along with modern styles such as Jivamukti and Power yoga.

Emphasis is placed on the use of proper breathing technique (bandhas and vinyasa) to explore postures and link them fluidly together. These essentials help a practitioner to access deeper layers of mental focus and tap into energy reserves that may otherwise lie dormant within, resulting in a practice more powerful on many levels, yet endlessly meditative.

Mike has been practising yoga for 10 years. His approach is largely inspired by the practicality of Zen Buddhism and Taoism, both of which have roots in yoga philosophy.
