About Nathan

Always active (running, boxing, strength training), Nathan was introduced to yoga practice in 1992 while working on his Master's degree in Comparative Religion. Now, as the owner of a small business, he knows the importance of finding ease in body and mind despite the ups and downs that come our way in life. A regular meditation practice in the tradition of Vietnamese Zen Master, Thich Nhat Hahn, brings greater focus and mindfulness to his active Hatha Yoga practice and informs his approach to longer held Yin poses.

Nathan recognises that, like life, yoga is a balance between striving and letting go, peaks of effort followed by the need to release and restore energy. Nathan's number one rule of yoga: "you've gotta laugh".
