About Britt

Britt first came to Yoga seven years ago during trying times, and for her it was like "coming home again". She soon realized that she had been practicing forms of Yoga ever since she was a child, and incorporates intuitive movements into her practice today. She is certified in Hatha Yoga, and got her start teaching full time in a summer camp in Algonquin park. It was an ideal setting, and practicing with children reminded her that in our hearts we already know Yoga, we just need to wake up to it. Britt's holistic approach to Yoga infuses her background in fitness and Psychology with the illuminating philosophy that inspires Yoga. Britt recognizes the importance of the individual's practice and serves to remind students how they can use their bodies to come fully into the present by building awareness. She encourages her students to turn inwards, and practice Yoga from the inside-out.
